A really good place to stay in London if you don't mind taking the tube to see the main attractions. Amazing use of space. And worth the price. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. But you will still feel a little away from the inner London city. If it's your first visit to London. I will say stay somewhere closer and then shift here.
Apartments are affordable and surprisingly sizeable for their price. They're also right near the tube station, providing easy travel access. It's just a shame it's not accessible.

It's a very comfortable hotel with family rooms (two double beds) available. The hotel staff are very kind and helpful, making sure your stay in London is smooth. The Elite member lounge is well maintained with a hearty breakfast provided to start the day. The hotel is in a quaint location yet a few minutes from Swiss Cottage station (on the Jubilee line). This makes getting into central London very easy. This is a fantastic hotel for holiday or business trips to London.
I've stayed 3 times now at this hotel and it's grown on me. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, rooms spacious, and it's s family oriented place with many rooms having a balcony. Didn't like the smoking section being moved further away from entrance, but that's expected and understandable. It's a short walk to underground which is great. The price could always be more affordable but as a general value, great place to stay.
30 Jamestown Rd, Camden Town, London NW1 7BY, UK – 020 7485 4343
Around 10 mintues wall from Camden Town Underground/Tube station. Air conditioned and has elevators. Mezzanine is where breakfast is served. Staff is very friendly and helpful. You can leave your baggage by the reception should you need to wander a bit before your ride arrives. A good bit of restaurants, pubs and shops around. The area does tend to get busy in the morning and Camden Station can have some restrictions on entry/exit times, so check well before planning to your visit if you're traveling by tube.
Excellent hotel, better than I expected. We stayed in the hotel with my family in a family room in the middle of the week while visiting London. When you walk in, the reception and bar/lounge area is very well presented, clean and with plenty of space. The staff on reception were great, very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and large, 2 double beds which were good and comfortable. Bathroom was small but perfect for what we needed. Excellent shower, nice and powerful. Breakfast was great too, plenty of selection of good food, well prepared and presented in a nice area on the 1st floor. Next time we visit London, I'm sure we'll stay here again.

A nice friendly pub for locals but also for bigger groups. There's a great vibe most days but in the summer especially after work when people go. They have a great range of food and snacks as well a alcohol. It's very large and spaced out. The outdoor area in the back is reasonable big too. The service is good and they also take bookings if you have a big group and come for lunch/dinner although during lunch there's usually always space so you don't need to book in advance.
I love the Lion - it's the friendly local you expect it to be. We frequent this pub fairly often, and the staff and service are top notch. The selection of beers - both craft and not - are second to none. If there is one criticism: The Lion recently changed its menu (and catering team from what I can tell) and while the food is okay, it's certainly not to the same standard as it was over the past year or so. Despite that: give the Lion a visit. It's a great pub with great people.

Had a really pleasant lunch on a Saturday, scrumptious cooking, good range of ales on tap, with very decent, attentive and friendly service. The manager (I think) was very apologetic as our order was quite delayed (wedding party on first floor), and graciously gave a meaningful discount, which was completely unexpected but every bit appreciated. Such a rarity nowadays, especially in London. Add to list of fave pubs.
Fantastic pub and even better service! The bar didn't have the mixer I requested last night but the barman kindly recommended an alternative, which was lovely. All staff were polite and friendly. Will definitely go back!

The pub is really nice and the staff are lovely. We sang songs around the piano. Absolutely recommend a Sunday night here. I didn't get chance to try the food but it looked amazing.
Nice pub. Great staff and service. But, they had only 1 pint off bitter 😁. All the other pubs had none.

My granddaughter and I stayed with Sinead two nights in July and we couldn't have been more pleased. The house is clean and the breakfast fresh and delicious. Sinead is a wonderful host.
Lovely host and cozy accommodation!

I stayed here last year as I was in London visiting a friend. We were late checking in, but the staff were friendly and accommodating. They took us to our room which was lovely, and next to a bathroom. I didn’t notice any problems till the second day when we were trying to get a shower, the hot water wouldn’t work and I was wandering around for 20 minutes trying to find a member of staff to help. They ended up taking us to the bathrooms on the lower floors to use which were damp mouldy and full of ants. Other than the shower problem, it was a fantastic stay. The bar and restaurant look lovely and the rooms are reasonably priced. I would stay here again if I was to visit this part of London again.
Very good pub nice beer very good bar staff got no sky sport

I've stayed at Avoca around seven or eight times in the last five years, owing to the perfect location and the reasonable rates, and I've never had any issues. It's nothing fancy, but it's the perfect way to slot into the gorgeous Edwardian history of Belsize Park as the architecture on the inside is largely as original as that of the exterior. The rooms are spacious, and the breakfast room is of ample size too. I have always been impressed with the polite nature of the staff, and they are quick to accommodate any changes too - I recall one occasion where I had booked a double room for two of us for five nights, and we had been upgraded to a family room. I can't complain!
The breakfast was simple but more than enough. The Hotel is close to the Jubilee line and you're in the city centre very fast. Near the Hotel are also supermarkets, a mall and a cinema. We were very happy during our stay.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
