Bicycle Shops or Bicycle Accessories Outlets or Cycle Repairers

Giant Store Camden

75 Kentish Town Rd, London NW1 8NY, UK – 020 7485 3983

Best place to get a bike in London! The store has a great stock of bikes and gear as well as superb service, but the real key is Nick, the owner who's worked there for 20+ years, and is very knowledgeable and thoughtful. He fit my bike to (almost) perfection, and when it wasn't perfect, he offered I stopped by for a quick tune up. He also offered loads of spot-on training and gear advice in the process.

Always a pleasure visiting Nick and the team, nothing is ever too much trouble - it is my "go-to" shop whenever I have any problems with my bike which is pretty regularly. Good value for money esp compared to the place up by KT tube who have done several repairs to my bike which haven't been done properly and needed further work - they tell you it's your fault when you bring it back in even though it's down to their shoddy workmanship! They also charge at least 20% more and the owner there without fail gives me the hard sell every time I go in. Nick is a breath of fresh air, highly recommended :))

Evans Cycles

86 Chalk Farm Rd, London NW1 8AR, UK – 020 7485 7293

Fantastic service! They checked my bike, inflated the wheels and gave me some tips on how to maintain it. Really patient at my inexperience with bikes, explaining every step on how to treat a rusty chain. Really appreciated!

I didn't have a hex key for my brompton saddle so I couldn't use it. I went in and asked if the guy at the till could help me, which he did. He got the key and adjusted the saddle for me. Many thanks! 4 stars because I called beforehand just incase but they didn't answer.

Evans Cycles

31-35 Crouch End Hill, London N8 8DH, UK – 020 8341 1306

Best Evans I've visited. Really great service today, with helpful and enthusiastic staff. Helped me out of a jiffy where the small independent one I tried let me down. Spent far too long talking bikes with your friendly staff though.

Very nice guys in there. I went to buy a pedal spanner to remove some stubborn pedals and they helped me remove it using their mechanics tools nice and quickly. Then explained that i only had to buy the spanner if i really wanted to. They're knowledgeable and friendly
